Job summary

The National University of Singapore's Mechanobiology Institute is seeking a Research Assistant to support the SIMBA microscopy core and train users in imaging and data extraction. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, biophysics, bioengineering, or related disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct microscopy training for users.
• Assist users during their first microscope sessions.
• Serve as person-in-charge for entry-level microscope systems after training.
• Provide basic troubleshooting for assigned systems.
• Support SIMBA activities including outreach and workshops.
• Assist with procurement, reporting, housekeeping, and laboratory safety.
