Job summary

Lonza is seeking a QC-Analyst (Microbiology-Shift) to support routine QC sampling and testing for environmental and product samples, including bioburden and endotoxin testing. This shift-based role is based at our Tuas site in Singapore.

You will perform microbiology tests, review results per cGMP and SOPs, monitor trends, assist investigations, and participate in method transfer and equipment qualification. Degree in Chemistry/Science and strong problem-solving skills are required.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in a chemistry or science field.
• Solid understanding of cGMP regulations and testing practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform microbiology and environmental monitoring testing on raw materials, in-process samples, bulk products and environmental samples.
• Conduct tests such as bioburden, LAL, microbial plating and counting, and microbial identification.
• Review and document results accurately in accordance with cGMP, SOPs and approved methods.
• Monitor microbiological trends, identify unusual results and prepare required reports.
• Support investigations and troubleshooting for out-of-specification results.
• Participate in method transfer, method validation, and equipment qualification.
