Job summary

The role emphasizes AI-enabled insights, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement across Micron Fabs. You will work with R&D teams in the US, participate in CST discussions, and contribute to reducing costs while improving product integrity and tool availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Engineering or Science.
• Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills.
• Effective communicator capable of collaborating across all levels.

• Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership and a track record of impact are highly desirable.
• Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work proactively to problem solve with yield or quality impact through development of measurement recipes for quick feedback on product integrity.
• Participate in new technology development and startup alongside with R&D fabrication site in the US.
• Join world-wide discussions such as Copy-Smart Team (CST) for continuous improvement on the toolset across Micron Fabs and share best-known-methods.
• Set up tool qualification criteria and implement monitoring through SPC charts.
• Collaborate with Engineering Operations and/or Application teams to optimize tool maintenance schedules and utilization.
• Develop and run projects to enhance inline detection, improve efficiency, reduce cost, and improve machine availability.
• Partner with tool suppliers to explore innovative approaches to overcome shrinking technology nodes.
• Support Fab through data analysis and recommendations on process changes and cost reduction work.
• Ensure engineering teams are trained on recipe maintenance, tool recovery, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities for the assigned tools.
• Determine sampling strategy to meet Production, Process Control and Quality requirements.
• Integrate AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within scope of work.
