Job summary

Raytheon in Singapore is seeking a Lab Technician to prepare metallographic and chemical samples, perform mechanical and chemical tests, and ensure timely lab analysis on-site, with opportunities for career growth.

Diploma in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering is required; training will be provided for newcomers. Night/rotating shifts and overtime are included, with benefits such as health coverage, transport, scholarships, and on‑the‑job certifications.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical / Aerospace related Engineering or equivalent.
• Candidates without prior experience are welcome; training will be provided.
• Able to work on night/rotating shifts and OT including rotational weekends.

Responsibilities

• Prepare metallographic/chemical samples using analytical tools to evaluate coating/structural and chemical quality.
• Perform related mechanical/chemical tests.
• Ensure conformance of turnaround time of lab analysis.
• Assist in waste store management and supporting Total Preventive Maintenance for lab equipment.
• Assist in purchasing related administrative works such as RFQ, PR & PO issuance.
• Solve technical issues as appropriate in daily routine work.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects and initiatives.
• Always demonstrate responsibilities in compliance with EH&S, Quality and Ethics’ Code of Conducts.
