Job summary

DYNAMIC HUMAN CAPITAL PTE. LTD. is seeking a Merchandising Executive to support product sourcing, category management, inventory planning, and supplier coordination for retail stores in North-East Singapore (Serangoon).

Salary is SGD 2,700–3,400 plus VB and transport coverage. Working hours are Monday to Friday, office hours. Company provides staff transport from selected areas.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Retail, Marketing, Business or related discipline.
• Candidates with experience in the retail industry are encouraged to apply.
• Candidates with at least 2 years of relevant experience in merchandising or category management within a retail environment will have an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate new products within assigned categories (stationary products).
• Manage category allocation, assortment planning, and range strategy.
• Analyse pricing strategies and their impact on sales performance and margins.
• Prepare data and insights to support supplier negotiations.
• Liaise with suppliers on promotions, deliveries, and stock fulfilment.
• Monitor inventory levels, stock ageing, and sell-through performance.
• Develop strategies to manage slow-moving items and optimise inventory turnover.
• Ensure timely replenishment of fast-moving products.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to execute product launches and promotional campaigns.
• Prepare monthly sell-through, inventory, and performance reports.

About the role

My Client is seeking for a Merchandising Executiveto join their team and support product sourcing, category management, inventory planning, and supplier coordination activities (retail stores)

Salary: $2700 ~ $3400 + VB + Transport Coverage

Working hours: MON- FRI Office hours

Location: North-East Singapore, Serangoon

(Company catered staff transport from; Jurong, Ang Mo Kio, Bedok)

Key responsibilities

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Retail, Marketing, Business or a related discipline

• Candidates with experience in the retail industry are encouraged to apply.

• Candidates with at least 2 years of relevant experience in merchandising or category management within a retail environment will have an advantage

• Experience in managing product categories and driving merchandising performance would be advantageous

• Familiarity with sourcing and managing suppliers from overseas markets, including China, will be advantageous

• Familiarity with SAP is an added advantage

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

• Strong interpersonal skills, including analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
