Business Operation/Procurement Merchandiser

Employment Type: Full-Time

Monthly Salary: $3800 - $4500

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for preparing quotations for inquiries and sending the proposed solutions within the approved time frame to the client.
• Sending order inquiries to respective vendors/ new vendors for preparing the quotations.
• Updating the client with production, delivery and quotation update.
• Follow up with the vendor for order process to shipment delivery
• Help managing the order allocation process within the set framework
• Manage quotations, price analysis and price negotiations with supplier within the negotiation parameters and approval standard set
• Conduct vendor visits and ensure product quality when required
• Evaluate and monitor the factories/ vendors for order management, continuous improvement and business development
• Proactively anticipate issues and provide problem solving wherever necessary
• Submit vendor bills/ credit notes in system for payments
• Updating the system with order status to issue client invoices and vendor credit notes.
• Updating the platform with new products and order links

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Merchandising/ Business Operations/ Procurement or related discipline
• At least 3 year of merchandising/ procurement experience
• Good knowledge and experience in product design and procurement is an advantage
• Good command of written and spoken English, additional languages would beneficial
• Detail-oriented mindset
• Possess strong project management skills
• Must be self-motivated, organized, responsible, hardworking and independent
• Good working attitude, willing to learn, and a good team player
• Proficient in MS Office (specifically Excel)
• Experience in price negotiations and order allocation
• Ability to work under pressure
• Familiar with the related compliance standard is an advantage
• Willing to travel when required
