Job summary

Mission Critical Recruitment is seeking a Project Manager to take overall responsibility for the operational delivery of assigned projects, ensuring safety, technical, commercial and management requirements are met from pre-bid through to completion.

You will lead the project delivery team, ensure ISO compliance, and collaborate with senior management to maintain clear communication across all activities, while supporting bid/tender processes with robust project propositions.

Qualifications

• PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification is required.
• Degree in Project Management, Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical), Business Administration or related discipline preferred.
• Certified Data Centre Project Manager (CDCPM) or demonstrated PM experience within the data centre sector is highly desirable.
• Significant international project delivery experience, preferably in data centres or mission-critical environments.
• Experience managing projects within construction and M&E environments; strong data centre knowledge.

What you'll do

• Work closely with Senior Management and the central team to ensure clear, consistent and effective communication across all project activities.
• Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with ISO standards, company procedures and established project delivery processes.
• Support the Sales and Proposals teams during the bid and tender stages, contributing to professional, commercially viable and successful project proposals.
• Provide clear leadership to the project delivery team, establishing objectives, responsibilities, accountabilities and performance expectations.

What you'll need

• PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification is required.
• Degree in Project Management, Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical), Business Administration or a related discipline is preferred. Equivalent extensive trade or industry experience will also be considered.
• Certified Data Centre Project Manager (CDCPM) or demonstrated project management experience within the data centre sector is highly desirable.
• Significant international project delivery experience, preferably within data centres or other mission-critical environments.
• Proven experience managing projects within construction and M&E environments.
• Strong understanding of the data centre industry and associated mission-critical services.
• Strong commercial and financial awareness, including understanding of project profitability, P&L and commercial costing.
