Job summary

QCS Staffing is seeking an MEP Project Manager for a Singapore-based, initial 6-month contract to support Life Sciences and data centre projects. You will lead end-to-end UPS replacement campaigns for a global hyperscale provider, ensuring regulatory and safety compliance in APAC.

The role requires hands-on project leadership across surveys, verification, load analysis, FAT, installation, testing, and handover.

Qualifications

• UPS experience for end-to-end delivery.
• MEP project management experience in critical environments.
• Experience with life sciences/pharma or data centre projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end UPS replacement projects including site surveys and load analysis.
• Coordinate resources: labour, tools, equipment, testing instruments, and UPS supply.
• Oversee installation, testing, FAT, and changeover activities; ensure safe commissioning.
• Deliver project closeout with test reports, certificates, warranty docs and handover dossiers.

MEP Project Manager – Singapore – Initial 6-Month Contract – Life Sciences

What You’ll Deliver

• Manage end-to-end UPS replacement project delivery, including site surveys, engineering verification, load analysis, feasibility assessments, and the development of all required method statements, risk assessments, MOPs, and contingency plans.
• Provide and coordinate all project resources, including labour, supervision, tools, equipment, testing instruments, lifting equipment, technical support, documentation, and the supply of new UPS systems of equivalent capacity.
• Execute installation, testing, and commissioning activities, including isolation and removal of existing UPS systems, verification and reuse of battery banks and cabling where suitable, factory acceptance testing (FAT), site installation, commissioning, and controlled load changeover.
• Deliver project closeout and ongoing support, including submission of test reports, certificates, warranty documentation, complete handover dossiers, and proposals for ongoing maintenance and support services following the warranty period.

Experience required

• UPS experience
• MEP Project Management experience
• Data Centre is preferred. Mission critical considered (Data Centre / Life science / pharma / oil & gas)
• Either construction or operational experience (ideally operational)
• Must have prior experience of working in APAC / have a good understanding of local site regulations in Singapore or similar
