Lidl & Kaufland Asia Pte. Limited in Singapore is seeking a seasoned Merchandising Manager to oversee end-to-end ordering, pricing, and supplier qualification. You will work with factories to define value, monitor margins, and drive continuous improvement with the product development team.

You will coordinate quotations, price analyses, and negotiations within headquarters parameters, manage sampling and order allocation, and ensure delivery performance and quality across categories.

Competenze

• Tertiary level education.
• Extensive merchandising experience.
• Technical (material) and process know-how for relevant categories.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Strong negotiator with a commercial mindset.
• Proactively anticipate issues and provide problem solving wherever necessary.
• Works well under pressure and can handle conflicts with flexible work style.
• Problem solving skills and ability to seek advice when required.
• Proficient in MS Office/Google Workspace (Excel/Sheets, PowerPoint/Slides).
• Willing to travel as required.

Mansioni

• Main contact point to factories to coordinate the end-to-end process.
• Define the right price and quality per item and generate best value for money for our customer.
• Contribute to evaluation and monitoring of factories for continuous improvement and business development.
• Work closely with the product development team on development and follow up on sampling.
• Manage quotations, price analysis and price negotiations within headquarters parameters.
• Help manage the order allocation process within department strategy and HQ framework.
• Monitor end-to-end process and critical path within merchandising and liaise with supply chain and supporting functions.
• Manage ordering progress and provide problem solving where necessary.
