Job summary

Lidl & Kaufland Asia is seeking a diligent assistant to support the Merchandising team in Singapore. You will collaborate with your supervisor to drive factory evaluation, sampling, quotations, pricing and supplier negotiations.

Ideal candidates have tertiary education and exposure to merchandising or supply-chain, strong English, and proficient in MS Office/Google Workspace. Fresh graduates with relevant degrees are welcome; training and career progression are offered.

Qualifications

• Tertiary level education.
• Merchandising or supply-chain experience is an advantage.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Problem solving skills with the ability to seek advice.
• Good working attitude, eager to learn, and a good team player.
• Proficient in MS Office/Google Workspace (Excel/Sheets and Power Point/Slides).
• Fresh graduates with a relevant degree will also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to factory evaluation and monitoring for continuous improvement.
• Follow up on the sampling process.
• Assist with quotations, price analysis and supplier negotiations.
• Assist order allocation from confirmation to shipment.
• Support end-to-end process monitoring and critical path with supply chain.
