Job summary

NTU Singapore's School of Biological Sciences is seeking a Research Fellow to join the laboratory of Assistant Professor Sho Suzuki and contribute to a program focused on the biophysical characterization of membrane remodeling.

You will work with a multidisciplinary, international team and contribute to neurodegeneration research through advanced imaging and reconstitution techniques.

Qualifications

• PhD in biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology or related field.
• Hands-on experience in in vitro reconstitution, live-cell imaging and electron microscopy.
• Excellent written and oral communication in English.
• Proficiency in hard skills / job-specific abilities (e.g., programming, numerical/analytical skills).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an international team.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and execute independent research within a multidisciplinary program.
• Acquire and apply expertise in invitro reconstitution, live-cell imaging, and EM.
• Lead manuscript preparation and present research at international conferences.
• Co-mentor graduate students and research staff.
• Communicate regularly with principal investigators and lab members.
