Job summary

NHG Health in Singapore seeks a dedicated cardiac imaging technician to support advanced diagnostic procedures. You will perform transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, treadmill ECG, imaging stress tests, and cardiac monitoring during interventional procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cardiovascular tests, including Transthoracic and Transesophageal Echocardiography, treadmill ECG and imaging stress tests, Cardiac Ambulatory Monitoring, and hemodynamic monitoring during interventional cardiology procedures.
• Monitor turnaround times for cardiac tests and appointment waiting times, while tracking patient information and key operational metrics such as revenue, audits, and KPIs, to facilitate effective work planning.
• Maintain and calibrate equipment to ensure accurate testing and diagnosis, and troubleshoot any errors or discrepancies that arise.
• Ensure the emergency trolley (crash cart) in the centre is properly maintained and ready for use.
• Assist with and participate in audit processes to ensure that all cardiac test equipment and devices comply with regulatory and safety requirements.
• Undertake special projects as assigned.
• Maintain adequate inventory levels of the unit’s supplies and materials.
• Uphold patient rights and always ensure patient safety.
