Job summary

NHG Health in Singapore seeks a Cardiac Technologist to operate and maintain cardiovascular equipment, perform tests (ECG, Holter, BP), and support interns from the Cardiac Technology Elective Cluster.

The role includes independent performance of complex modalities such as 2D Echocardiography or invasive procedures, plus routine reports, equipment upkeep, and adherence to quality and infection-control standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience.
• Candidates with CIED experience will be given priority.
• Optional: Registration with CAAHEP, ARDMS, or equivalent body.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain cardiovascular equipment to provide detailed analysis of cardiovascular functions.
• Perform routine cardiovascular tests (ECG, Ambulatory Holter/Blood Pressure) including download, analysis, and interpretation of data.
• Perform Treadmill ECG and assist in Imaging Stress Testing independently.
• Perform at least one complex cardiovascular modality independently: Transthoracic Echocardiography, Invasive Cardiovascular Angiograms/PTCA, or CIED checks, programming, and implants.
• Prepare procedure reports and maintain accurate patient records and operational data.
• Maintain equipment, troubleshoot errors, and keep records of all repairs and routine maintenance.
• Maintain the emergency trolley and assist in managing inventory of supplies and materials.
• Assist in audits and ensure cardiac equipment meets all regulatory and safety requirements.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Clinical and Technical
