Job summary

ACUMED MEDICAL PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a committed physician to join our family medicine team.

The role offers flexible hours and the chance to practice across multiple clinics, with supportive colleagues dedicated to patient care. You will diagnose and manage conditions, refer to specialists when needed, maintain EMR per MOH standards, and guide patients through follow-ups. Minimum 3 years local primary care experience and SMC registration required.

Qualifications

• MBBS and SMC registration in Singapore.
• GDFM or DWD is an added advantage.
• At least 3 years of local primary care experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose medical conditions and prescribe appropriate treatments.
• Guide patients through referrals to specialists and secondary care.
• Manage follow-ups and monitor progress with return consultations.
• Ensure EMR records are up-to-date per MOH and legal requirements.
• Provide prompt, reliable care to ensure a positive patient experience.
• Stay current with latest primary care standards and practices.

Job responsibilities

• Diagnose medical conditions and prescribe appropriate treatments
• Guide patients through specialist referrals and secondary care when needed
• Manage patient follow-ups and return consultations to monitor ongoing progress
• Provide prompt and reliable care to ensure a positive patient experience
• Stay current with latest clinical standards and primary care practices
• Ensure electronic medical records (EMR) are up-to-date, in line with MOH and legal requirements
• Handle patient medical report requests, including follow-up documentation for locum consultations

Key competencies required

• MBBS and fully registered with the Singapore Medical Council (SMC)
• Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine (GDFM) / Certified Designated Workplace Doctor (DWD) is an added advantage
• Responsible and patient-focused
• At least 3 years of local clinical experience in a primary care setting
