We are seeking for a patient-focused General Practitioner /Medical Doctor to support our Mobile Workforce Clinic operations. This role involves delivering primary care and occupational health services across various clinics.
Key Responsibilities
Health Screening & Clinical Services
- Conduct health screening consultations and medical assessments.
- Perform breast examinations and Pap smears.
- Review laboratory and diagnostic test results.
- Provide medical opinions, health advice, and follow-up recommendations.
- Prepare and review health screening reports.
- Assess patients' medical conditions, symptoms, and concerns.
- Perform physical examinations and order relevant investigations.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Prescribe medications and treatment plans as appropriate.
- Provide preventive healthcare services, including vaccinations, health screenings, and lifestyle counselling.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans where necessary.
Health Promotion & Education
- Educate patients on disease prevention, wellness, and self-care.
- Promote healthy lifestyle habits, including nutrition, exercise, and stress management.
- Support preventive health initiatives and screening programmes.
- Coordinate patient care with specialists, hospitals, and other healthcare providers.
- Refer patients for specialist consultation and further management when required.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
- Document consultations, diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up actions.
- Adhere to clinical governance, medical confidentiality, and regulatory requirements.
Professional Development
- Keep abreast of developments in medical knowledge and clinical practice.
- Participate in Continuing Medical Education (CME) activities.
- Support quality improvement and professional development initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements
- MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by the Singapore Medical Council (SMC).
- Fully registered with SMC and holds a valid Practising Certificate.
- Possess Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine (GDFM) or be a Registered Family Physician.
- Experience in Family Medicine, General Practice, Primary Care, or Health Screening is preferred.
- Willing to travel and work across multiple locations, including Soon Lee, Tuas, and other operational sites as assigned.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and clinical skills.
