Job summary

PERSOL Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform phlebotomy, ECGs, and a range of POCT and clinical tests in a regulated lab environment.

You will ensure accurate specimen handling, adherence to GLP standards, and timely reporting of results to support clinician diagnosis and patient care. The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and strong communication with colleagues and patients.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy and ECG procedures with accuracy and professionalism.
• Conduct POCT and clinical laboratory tests, including urinalysis, haematology, biochemistry, and microscopy, independently and in accordance with established protocols.
• Ensure proper specimen identification, accessioning, processing, and storage in compliance with GLP standards.
• Verify and validate test results accurately, identify discrepancies, and carry out corrective actions as required.
• Deliver timely, accurate, and reliable laboratory results to support clinicians in patient diagnosis and care.
• Maintain documentation and records to ensure traceability and regulatory compliance.

• Conduct Point-of-Care Testing (POCT) and clinical laboratory tests, including urinalysis, haematology, biochemistry, and microscopy, independently and in accordance with established protocols.
• Ensure proper specimen identification, accessioning, processing, and storage in compliance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) standards.
• Verify and validate test results accurately, identify discrepancies promptly, and carry out the necessary corrective actions when required.
• Deliver timely, accurate, and reliable laboratory results to support clinicians in patient diagnosis and care.
• Maintain proper documentation and records to ensure traceability and compliance with good documentation practices and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Degree in relevant field or an equivalent qualification.
• Preferred relevant work experience in a laboratory setting.
