Job summary

RECRUITPEDIA PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced mechanical/electrical/biomedical engineer to design and develop medical device products from concept to production.

You will create prototypes, perform testing, and prepare comprehensive documentation. The role requires 2–3 years of R&D or product design experience in medical devices, with hands-on CAD skills (SolidWorks or CREO) and familiarity with ASME/JIS standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Biomedical Engineering.
• 2–3 years of R&D or product design experience in medical devices.
• Hands-on CAD experience with SolidWorks or CREO.
• Knowledge of ASME and JIS standards.
• Experience with prototype development, testing, and design documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, modify, and evaluate medical device products from concept to production.
• Develop prototypes, conduct testing, and prepare engineering documentation.
• Perform design verification, problem-solving, and product improvement activities.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant standards and quality requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product development and manufacturing transfer.
