Job summary

HPS PARTNERS PTE. LTD. is seeking a mechanical engineer to translate design ideas into practical, testable concepts and production-ready solutions.

You will develop concepts, create 3D models and drawings, assess manufacturability, and support verification activities throughout development. The role requires 2–3 years in mechanical product development or R&D and a relevant engineering degree. Singapore-based, full-time on-site position.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 2–3 years of experience in mechanical product development or R&D.
• Experience in mechanical component design, material selection, and design for manufacturability.
• Proficient in 3D CAD, engineering drawings, GD&T, tolerance analysis, and design calculations.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical concepts, prototypes, and design solutions for R&D projects.
• Convert product requirements into 3D models, technical drawings, and design specifications.
• Evaluate fit, function, material performance, and manufacturability during the design stage.
• Plan design verification activities and assess test results for improvement.
• Conduct technical research, including patent reviews, to support design originality.
• Coordinate project activities and deliver design outputs within committed timelines.
• Follow company safety, environmental, and workplace procedures.
