Job summary

Edwards Lifesciences is seeking a capable Assembly Technician to contribute to the manufacturing of medical devices at multiple stations. The role requires following detailed work orders, drawings, and SOPs while maintaining data integrity in manufacturing systems.

Candidates should have 4 years of related experience and a secondary education background; medical device assembly experience is preferred. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for ongoing line performance and safety

Qualifications

• 4 years of previous related experience required.
• Secondary Education and previous medical device assembly experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble medical devices at multiple stations with accuracy and on schedule using work orders and drawings; navigate drawings on computer systems and enter parts status data.
• Reconcile inventory at start of day and during transition to next work order; ensure components and tools are ready for the build.
• Follow SOPs; record traceable information on device history records and enter data into manufacturing data systems as required.
• Coach and train lower level employees; monitor line performance and provide guidance in the absence of the Lead.
• Perform line clearance; clean and sanitize work stations at shift start and during transitions.
• Self-assess and review colleagues' work; escalate issues to supervisor and provide constructive feedback.
• General duties include housekeeping of the work area.
