Job summary

Encompass Digital Media in Singapore seeks a Scheduling Assistant to publish Live Channels and VOD EPG on OTT, and to manage Catch-up/Start-over scheduling. You will update EPGs, verify against schedules from channel partners, liaise with CPs, and distribute EPG data to internal teams.

Diploma or ITC Certification in Media Studies or related field and good knowledge of Microsoft Office are required. Able to work weekends and Public Holidays, meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment, and

• Diploma or ITC certification in Media Studies or related field.
• Experience with linear channel or VOD scheduling is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills.
• Able to work independently, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Willing to explore and learn new undertakings.
• Complete all tasks within rostered hours unless urgently required.
• Perform other tasks assigned by supervisor/manager.

• Scheduling of Catch-up / Start-over for programs
• Update EPG and check against schedule changes
• Perform check on the output against the schedules from channel partners (CP)
• Manage distribution for Marketing and Publicity purposes
• Respond to customer queries in relation to scheduling as per guideline
• Comply with SOP for scope of work
• Liaise with channel partners
• Distribute EPG to internal teams / partners
• Manage all scheduling functions in scheduling system
• Willing to explore and learn new undertakings
• Complete all assigned tasks within rostered working hours unless instructed otherwise or required urgently
• Perform other tasks assigned by supervisor / manager

Requirements

• Diploma or ITC Certification (Media Studies or a closely related field)
• Possess knowledge and experience in linear channel or VOD scheduling experience
• Good knowledge in Microsoft Office
• Able to work/meet tight deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
• Good communications skills
• Able to work independently, work on weekends and Public Holidays
