Hatch Technologies Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Media Intern to join the Hatch Mediahouse team in Singapore. You’ll participate in the full production pipeline, from planning through on-set shooting to post-production delivery, contributing to real content across Hatch’s ecosystem.

The role is hands-on and collaborative, ideal for someone who values creativity, craft, and social impact. Mentorship from media professionals will help you grow across videography, editing, and production.

Qualifications

• Showreel or portfolio of video/photo work.
• Basic production fundamentals (camera, lighting, audio or editing) and a willingness to learn.
• Strong communication and collaboration on set.

Responsibilities

• Pre-production: assist with shoot logistics, shot lists, call sheets, locations and gear prep.
• Production: support on-set as second shooter, camera assistant, or gaffer/grip; assist with audio, slating and continuity.
• Post-production: help organise footage, rough cuts, transcription, colour, sound and motion graphics workflows.
• Capture behind-the-scenes content across productions and programmes.

About the role

As a Media Intern, you'll dive into the full production pipeline, from pre-production planning through on-set shooting to post-production delivery, contributing to real content across the Hatch ecosystem. It's a hands-on role for someone who values creativity, craft, and where relevant, social impact.

The team

You’ll work alongside Hatch's Mediahouse team, our in-house digital marketing agency, in a warm, collaborative environment where your ideas are genuinely welcomed.

What you'll do

• Pre-production: support shoot logistics, prep shot lists and call sheets, assist with location setup and gear prep


• Production: assist on-set as second shooter, camera assistant, or gaffer/grip; support audio setup, slating, footage logging, and continuity


• Post-production: organise and back up footage, assist with rough cuts and transcription, support colour, sound, and motion graphics workflows


• Capture behind-the-scenes content across productions and programmes

Details

• Stipend: from SGD 600 to 1,000/month


• Duration: 3 to 6 months (flexible, based on agreement)


• Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has a showreel or portfolio of video/photo work (from internships, academic work, or personal projects) that shows an interest or ability in media production. A school or personal project works, anything you're proud to share


• Has a basic understanding of production fundamentals (camera, lighting, audio, or editing) and a passion for learning more


• Can articulate creative and technical choices, showing how the stages of production come together to tell a cohesive story


• Has strong communication skills, reliability on set, and an eagerness to collaborate
