Job summary

GMP Technologies in Singapore invites applications for a Mechanical Technician on a 12-hour rotating shift. This role supports a US multinational with West-region operations, offering competitive shift allowances.

You will perform maintenance and repair of mechanical manufacturing systems, oversee equipment installation and upgrades, and ensure continuous production. The job requires 2+ years in relevant fields and a technical diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Pharmaceutical/ Food/ Petrochemical/ Chemical/ Nutritional preferred.
• Able to perform 12 hours rotating shift
• Responsible for equipment maintenance (corrective, preventive, predictive) of plant equipment in comply with the Site Safety and GMP procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair mechanical manufacturing systems.
• Evaluate, select and order equipment for manufacturing.
• Oversee installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
• Monitor, repair and maintain production equipment to ensure continuous production.
• Assist with repair, preventive maintenance, data management, project support, control support and ISO audits.
• Maintain records on equipment manufacturers' notices and safety issues.
• Execute work orders and record jobs performed via MAXIMO.
• Coordinate contractors, vendors and service providers for maintenance.

Education

ITC/ NITEC/ Diploma in Engineering/ Mechanical or related discipline or Secondary education with more than 3 years of experience.
