Job summary

GMP Technologies in Singapore is seeking a Technician / Engineering Assistant / Assistant Engineer for a 12-hour shift in semicon manufacturing to support daily production and yield improvements. You will troubleshoot, guide operators, and coordinate with the Line Engineer to ensure quality and output.

Ideal candidates hold a NITEC/ Diploma in Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Electrical & Electronics Engineering with 1–2 years in high-volume manufacturing and familiarity with production control

Qualifications

NITEC / Diploma in Mechatronics / Mechanical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
1–2 years of experience in high-volume manufacturing.
Knowledge in production/operation control and change management.

Responsibilities

To specialise in processes and to perform higher level of troubleshooting and failure analysis
Guide the technicians and operators to achieve required output and quality
Check on the supplementary materials change to ensure they are properly done
Assist Line Engineer to check all the control chart and checklist
Ensure smooth production operation with production report
Monitor, troubleshoot and improve the production daily final test yield
Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery
