Job summary

INTERISLAND TECHNOLOGY AND ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a capable Supervisor – Mechanical to oversee daily site operations for mechanical works in construction or industrial projects.

You will supervise installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and ensure compliance with drawings, specs, and safety standards. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Higher NITEC in Mechanical Engineering with 2–4 years of relevant experience, reads technical drawings, and collaborates with engineers,

Qualifications

• Diploma or Higher NITEC in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in mechanical works within construction or industrial projects.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Familiar with Singapore Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements.
• Good teamwork, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to site conditions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily mechanical installation and site activities.
• Assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems and equipment.
• Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and procedures.
• Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and project teams on site matters.
• Monitor site progress and report daily updates to management.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues on site.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and materials.
• Support preparation of daily reports and documentation.
