Job summary

Brunel International S.E.A. Pte. Ltd is seeking an experienced Mechanical Inspector to support an FPSO project at TBY Yard. The role involves inspecting installation, testing, and ensuring quality compliance throughout construction and pre-commissioning phases.

The candidate should have 5+ years of mechanical inspection experience, diploma/degree in mechanical engineering, and familiarity with international inspection standards. 12-month duration with 6x10h workdays at TBY Yard.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of pumps, compressors, valves, and mechanical equipment installation.

Our client is currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Inspector to support a major FPSO project at TBY Yard. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting mechanical equipment installation, testing, and quality compliance throughout construction and pre-commissioning phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect installation of rotating and static equipment.
• Verify alignment, bolt tightening, preservation, and mechanical completion.
• Witness functional tests and pre-commissioning activities.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and procedures.
• Review inspection records and vendor documentation.
• Monitor punch list closure.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of mechanical inspection experience.

FPSO Experience

• Experience in FPSO, offshore oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical, or marine projects.

• Duration: 12 Months
• Location: TBY Yard
• Work Schedule: 6 Days/Week, 10 Hours/Day
• Annual Leave: 14 Days
