Job summary

JOB LIONS PTE. LTD. is seeking an Executive Engineer (Mechanical/Electrical) to lead building services design from concept to detail for upcoming projects. The role involves liaising with authorities and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure designs meet budget and schedule constraints.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, familiarity with building codes and strong communication skills to work with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Familiarity with building codes and authority submission procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist Professional Engineer in preparing, liaising, and following up on Authority Submission to ensure compliance and timely approvals.
• Collaborate with Clients, Architects, Structural Engineers, and Quantity Surveyors to develop designs from concept through detailed stages.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in design results to maintain accuracy and quality.
• Manage project tasks independently to complete primary design elements for building services including ACMV, HVAC, plumbing and sanitary, Electrical, ELV, and Fire Protection.
• Apply BIM Modelling skills to support design coordination and visualization.
• Deliver work aligned with agreed budgets and schedules with minimal supervision.
