Job summary

Akribis Systems Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineer to execute projects for repeat-order machine systems and optimize existing assemblies. The role includes concept development, BOM generation, CAD modeling, and vendor coordination.

You will assemble and set up prototype machines, coordinate with multiple engineering disciplines, and produce technical work instructions and calculations that meet customer requirements. A hands-on, collaborative mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of engineering experience in Industrial Automation or related field is required.

Responsibilities

• Project execution of Repeat Order machine systems.
• Optimize design of existing Mechanical Assemblies to improve performance and reduce costing.
• Assist in concept development for new machine systems.
• Generation of Bill of Materials.
• 3D CAD Modelling, and 2D Drawing detailing; communication with vendors during fabrication.
• Assembly and setup of prototype machine according to Design Intent.
• Project coordination with various departments/Engineering disciplines.
• Technical documentation of work: Work Instructions, Design Intents, Component sizing calculations.
• Understanding specifications/requirements from customers.
• Any task assigned by the superior.
