Job summary

Soon Xing Engineering is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for design work and engineering calculations, focusing on mounting brackets and verified by structural analysis.

You will perform design calculations (bearing stress, bending moments, deflection), prepare CAD models and fabrication drawings, and generate QC documents to support fabrication and testing.

This on-site role in Jalan Boon Lay runs 8:00 am to 5:45 pm and requires a Diploma or Degree in engineering.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in engineering required.
• Experience with design calculations and structural analysis is preferred.
• Proficiency in creating fabrication drawings and QC documents is beneficial.

2. Objective Design and support for fabrication of mountable brackets. Including relevant engineering calculations (e.g., bearing stress, shear stress, bending moment, deflection, factor of safety, etc.) necessary to verify the design meets structural and safety requirements.
