Job summary

PERSOL is seeking a diligent Mechanical Drafter for a 1-year renewable contract based at Boon Lay. You will prepare and modify mechanical drawings using SolidWorks and support engineers with documentation.

Ideal candidates have a Nitec in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline, basic SolidWorks and MS Office skills, and are keen to join a hands-on engineering team in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Nitec in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Technology or related discipline.
• SolidWorks knowledge from basic to good.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
• Basic understanding of mechanical drawings and engineering documentation.
• Candidates with no working experience welcome; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and modify mechanical drawings using SolidWorks.
• Assist engineers in preparing and updating technical drawings and documentation.
• Prepare technical documents, reports and project documentation using Microsoft Office.
• Maintain and organise project drawings, technical documents and records.
• Support the engineering team with drafting, documentation and other engineering tasks.
• Ensure drawings and documents are updated accurately and maintained per project requirements.

Contract: 1 Year (Renewable / Convertible)
Working Location: Boon Lay
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:45 PM

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and modify mechanical drawings using SolidWorks

• Assist engineers in preparing and updating technical drawings and documentation

• Prepare technical documents, reports and project documentation using Microsoft Office

• Maintain and organise project drawings, technical documents and records

• Support the engineering team with drafting, documentation and other engineering-related tasks

• Ensure drawings and documents are updated accurately and maintained according to project requirements

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Nitec in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Technology or a related discipline

• Basic to good knowledge of SolidWorks

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel

• Basic understanding of mechanical drawings and engineering documentation
