Job summary

HOPE Technik Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a mechanical design engineer to develop assemblies, drawings, and hydraulic circuits, translating customer requirements into technical specs.

You will perform structural analysis, select materials, and support fabrication and assembly, with focus on manufacturability and ingress protection; knowledge of motion control and FEA preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years in mechanical engineering / mechanical component design.
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks).
• Design knowledge in sheet metal parts, weldments, truss structures, machine parts.
• Design knowledge for ease of manufacture and assembly and ingress protection.
• Design knowledge in motion control / Kinematic solutions.
• FEA of quasistatic loading conditions.
• Design knowledge in hydraulics will be of added advantages.
• Experience in mechanical design of large structures, cranes will be of added advantages

Responsibilities

• Device solutions to mechanical problems at an assembly/ sub-assembly level.

• Develop hydraulic circuits including pumps, valves, cylinders, hoses, and safety locks
• Applies sound engineering principles, with innovation to meet set goals.
• Build-up of prototypes/ POCs.
