Job summary

JR Automation is seeking an Automation Mechanical Engineer in Singapore to design and develop high-speed, high-precision automation systems per specifications. You will troubleshoot, install, commission, and manage automation projects while coordinating with engineering teams and suppliers.

The role requires a Diploma/Advanced Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering, 2+ years of experience, and proficiency with 3D CAD tools such as AutoCAD and Unigraphics.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in designing automation equipment
• Proficient in 3D CAD (AutoCAD, Unigraphics)
• Willing to travel overseas for work installation
• Experience in project management is advantageous

Job Requirements

• Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering
• At least 2 years' experience in designing automation equipment
• Ability to generate concept from requirements
• Able to design automation equipment using 3D software such as AutoCAD, Unigraphics preferred
• Good knowledge of trimming tool design will be advantageous
• Experience in project management is advantageous
• Must be willing to travel overseas for work installation, when required

• Timely delivery on the design as per customer specifications
• Timely testing of FAT and SAT on new customized machine
• Ensure compliance to processes, procedures, and systems
• Adhere to the timeline given by customers
