Job summary

CPG Consultants, a leading engineering firm in Singapore, is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to plan and design building services. You will prepare reports, calculations and drawings across project stages and support submissions to authorities.

You will also review shop drawings, respond to RFIs and assist with contract administration. The role requires 1–2 years of mechanical design experience, familiarity with AutoCAD or Revit, and the ability to deliver projects on time and to clients

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a University recognized by the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore.
• 1-2 years of relevant mechanical design experience.
• Experience in a consulting firm with major development projects is preferred.
• Knowledge of mechanical design software and local codes.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct design presentations, review shop drawings and material/equipment submissions, handle RFIs and other contract administration duties.
• Oversee the installation, testing and commissioning of Mechanical engineering works.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a University recognized by the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore.
• Possess 1-2 years and above relevant experience in mechanical engineering design.
• Good working experience in a consulting firm with proven track records in major development projects.
• Knowledge of mechanical engineering design systems software.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Autodesk Revit is advantageous.
• Conversant with local codes and regulations, and authority submission procedures.
• A team player, able to work both independently and as a group, ensuring excellent project delivery to Clients and other stakeholders.
