Job summary

Beyondsoft International (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Mechanical CAD Designer to create tester tools and fixtures for large-format printer production using CAD.

The role requires liaising with multiple vendors, validating tools, and driving projects from design through final buy-off. Occasional travel to vendor sites is expected. The candidate should have a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and at least 1 year of CAD design experience, with strong problem-solving and communication

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of CAD design experience
• Able to work independently with good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Willing and able to travel frequently to vendor sites when required.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop tester tools and mechanical fixtures for large-format printer production using CAD.
• Liaise and negotiate with vendors on tool fabrication, technical requirements, and timelines.
• Validate and test fabricated tools to ensure they meet production and quality requirements.
• Conduct vendor site visits for technical discussions, progress reviews, and tool buy-off.
• Work with project stakeholders to progressively manage projects from design through fabrication, validation, and final buy-off.
