Job summary

Recruit Now Singapore Pte Ltd in Woodlands, Singapore, is seeking a Design Engineer to support product design, development and testing. A Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering and AutoCAD proficiency are required to design, prototype and optimize components.

You will develop and modify drawings, consider cost implications, coordinate with production teams and ensure designs meet performance specifications.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Must have AutoCAD knowledge and experience.
• Experience in design engineering or a related engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve product designs based on project requirements.
• Prepare and modify engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
• Develop prototypes and conduct testing to check design functionality and performance.
• Consider material, manufacturing and production costs when developing designs.
• Prepare and maintain design drawings, specifications, test reports and other project documents.
• Work on design improvements and provide practical engineering solutions.
• Coordinate with relevant teams during the design and production process.
• Perform other engineering and design-related duties when required.
