Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is required.
• Experience using AutoCAD is required.
• 2D drawings and 3D modelling experience is required.
• Experience with SolidWorks, Siemens NX or other 3D CAD software is advantageous.
• Experience in lithium batteries, battery packaging, automotive, electronics, or related industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and battery packaging solutions using AutoCAD and other CAD software.
• Prepare and maintain detailed 2D engineering drawings and 3D models for manufacturing and production.
• Review customer requirements and translate them into practical engineering designs.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and production to ensure successful project execution.
• Support prototype development, design validation, and continuous product improvement.
• Prepare engineering documentation, BOMs, and design revisions.
• Ensure designs are manufacturable while meeting quality, safety, and customer requirements.
