Job summary

REVUP PROSERVICES PTE. LTD. in Singapore recruits a Design Engineer to join its client’s engineering team and drive lithium battery packaging and mechanical design.

You will produce 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Siemens NX, ensuring manufacturability and compliance with safety requirements.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and production, support prototypes and validation, and contribute to continuous product improvement.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience using AutoCAD is required.
• Experience with SolidWorks, Siemens NX, or other 3D CAD software will be an advantage.
• Mechanical design experience involving 2D drawings and 3D modelling.
• Experience in lithium batteries, battery packaging, automotive, electronics, precision engineering, or related industries will be an added advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and battery packaging solutions using AutoCAD and other CAD software.
• Prepare and maintain detailed 2D engineering drawings and 3D models for manufacturing and production.
• Review customer requirements and translate them into practical engineering designs.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and production to ensure successful project execution.
• Support prototype development, design validation, and continuous product improvement.
• Prepare engineering documentation, BOMs, and design revisions.
• Ensure designs are manufacturable while meeting quality, safety, and customer requirements.
