Job summary

KLA-Tencor (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to design and develop precision machinery and mechatronic modules, with a strong focus on motion stages and high‑accuracy assemblies. You will perform structural simulations to validate design integrity and performance.

The role requires collaboration with cross‑functional teams to integrate mechanical designs with other subsystems, troubleshooting design issues during development and testing, and documenting processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in precision machinery, motion systems, or mechatronic module design.
• Strong proficiency in CAD and structural/FEA simulation tools.
• Solid understanding of precision motion components (linear motors, guides, bearings, transmission).
• Proficiency in structural simulation tools and techniques.
• Knowledge of vision inspection, linear motors, and optical encoders is a plus.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
