Job summary

SANKEI EAGLE SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a technician to assemble mechanical modules and components for automation equipment, prepare cables, and perform electrical wiring to ensure system functionality.

Candidates should be able to read mechanical and electrical drawings, apply basic wiring skills such as stripping, labeling and crimping, and be willing to learn. Fresh graduates are welcome; on-the-job training is provided; the role operates on a 5-day week with overseas travel

• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Basic electrical skills including wire stripping, labeling, soldering, and crimping.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical modules and components for automation equipment and machinery.
• Prepare cables, assemble control boxes, and perform electrical wiring and routing.
• Align machines, conduct I/O checks, perform testing, and troubleshoot issues.
• Read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings to guide work.
• Apply fastening, locating, and drilling skills to assemble parts.
• Travel overseas as required to support assignments and projects.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical modules and components for automation equipment and machinery accurately to meet production standards
• Prepare cables, assemble control boxes, and perform electrical wiring and routing to ensure proper system functionality
• Align machines, conduct input/output (I/O) checks, perform testing, and troubleshoot issues to maintain operational efficiency
• Read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings to guide assembly and wiring tasks
• Apply fastening, locating, and drilling skills to assemble mechanical parts securely
• Perform wire stripping, labeling, soldering, and crimping to support electrical wiring tasks (preferred skill)
• Travel overseas as required to support assignments and projects

Requirement

• Possess a Professional Certificate, ITE certification, or equivalent qualification
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings
• Basic electrical skills including wire stripping, labeling, soldering, and crimping
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and technologies
