Job summary

Zac Meat & Poultry Pte Ltd in Singapore is looking for a skilled butcher/kitchen assistant to wrap, weigh, label and price meat cuts, and to prepare and display products to attract customers. You will cut, trim, bone and grind meats, handle special orders, and help maintain inventory and sanitation in a busy retail setting.

Experience in a butcher shop or kitchen, strong communication and supervisory abilities, and cashiering skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Wrap, weigh, label and price cuts of meat.
• Prepare and place meat cuts in display counter to attract customers.
• Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers.
• Cut, trim, bone, tie, and grind meats to prepare cooking form.
• Estimate requirements and assist with meat inventory and ordering.
• Receive, inspect and store meat upon delivery to ensure quality.
• Record quantities of meat received and issued; maintain sales records.
• Maintain safety and sanitation standards per store regulations.
