Job summary

LAMBDA COMPUTING SOLUTIONS (S) PTE. LTD. seeks a proactive Teaching Aide - Math & Science Lab & Makerspace cum Admin Assistant to support daily operations of the Science Laboratory and Math in a MOE Primary School near Punggol MRT.

You will collaborate with HOD/LH-Science, Vice Principal, and school leaders to ensure smooth lab, CCA activities, and administrative functions. Key duties include preparing apparatus, managing resources, stock taking, and assisting with teaching aids and videos for

Qualifications

• Preferably has experience working in a school environment, particularly with Science and Mathematics support.
• Good communication and inter-personal skills.
• Able to use basic MS Office such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Able to work independently and pro-actively seek clarification when needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Science apparatus for experiments and Mathematics manipulatives for lessons.
• Keep Science apparatus and Mathematics manipulatives after lessons.
• Assist HOD/Science and HOD/Mathematics to develop a stock list and perform stock taking for Science and Math resources.
• Organise the return and collection of Math and Science desk copies by teachers annually.
• Pack Math and Science resources neatly in cupboards and laboratories.
• Perform simple, non-technical repairs and maintenance of equipment and teaching aids.
• Work with teachers to create simple manipulatives or other materials for Math and Science programmes.
• Support the Math and Science Departments in preparation for recess activities.
• Support photo-taking for Math and Science programmes and for teaching resources.
• Capture simple Math/Science teaching videos for resources.
• Provide administrative support as deployed by the school.
