Job summary

Applied Materials Singapore is seeking a seasoned Materials Planner to drive end-to-end planning and procurement processes. You will coordinate make vs. buy, capacity, scheduling, inventory, and costs to meet customer demand and production targets.

The role requires strong forecasting, supplier management, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure on-time delivery and cost efficiency within a global manufacturing network.

Qualifications

• Experience in materials planning and supply chain processes.
• Strong analytical and forecasting abilities.
• Leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage cross-functional, integrated planning including make vs. buy, capacity, scheduling, inventory and cost.
• Forecast demand using historical data and coordinate with teams to build to order/forecast plans.
• Establish methods for inventory forecasting, purchasing, and material control.
• Oversee production scheduling, monitor inventories and address scheduling issues.
• Develop and manage supplier relationships and performance to meet cost, quality and delivery targets.
• Ensure 100% on-time delivery by coordinating with engineering, manufacturing and quality teams.
