Job summary

Applied Materials South East Asia is seeking a Materials and Sourcing specialist to forecast engineering and manufacturing requirements, coordinate supplier activities, and drive the materials strategy across projects.

You will negotiate with suppliers, monitor performance, and ensure cost targets while collaborating with engineering and quality teams. This is a full-time role in Singapore with 10% travel and relocation eligibility.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating supplier materials and procurement with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to perform make-vs-buy analysis and negotiate with suppliers.
• Knowledge of MRP processes and cost control methods.

Responsibilities

• Forecasts and communicates engineering, materials, and manufacturing requirements to suppliers.
• Leads Materials Core Team and coordinates product development process deliverables.
• Assists in supplier price and delivery negotiations; participates in contract discussions under supervision.
• Monitors supplier performance (delivery, quality, cost) and drives cost objectives.
• Manages materials change control and publishes Key Process Indicators.
