Job summary

JINHONG GAS (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD is seeking a material management professional to oversee materials, inventory, and SAP operations within the workshop environment. The role involves coordinating with Production, Warehouse, Finance, and IT teams to ensure data integrity and efficient supply flow.

Responsibilities include daily SAP activities, stock counting, cost monitoring, and maintaining accurate records with Excel reports to support operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Manage materials including raw materials, auxiliary materials, and related supplies.
• Perform daily SAP transactions, including production orders, recording production output, processing material goods receipts and goods issues, and resolving related operational issues.
• Manage workshop inventory, monitor slow-moving and obsolete stock, conduct physical stock counts, and investigate and resolve inventory surpluses or shortages. Carry out mid-month, month-end, and year-end stocktaking activities.
• Reconcile inventory records to ensure consistency between SAP system, physical stock and inventory tracking records.
• Perform cost calculations for new business activities, monitor relevant material and cost data, and assist in analysing and resolving cost-related issues arising from business operations.
• Prepare, maintain, and verify daily workshop records, operational documents, and Excel reports to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate with the Production, Warehouse, Finance, and IT departments to address issues related to materials, inventory, and SAP system operations, while supporting continuous improvement of operational processes.
