Job summary

RecruitPedia Pte Ltd is partnering with a leading Contract Manufacturing client in Singapore to hire a Material Planner. The role focuses on aligning planning with sales demand, generating MRP schedules, and ensuring timely PR issuance to support production schedules.

You will work closely with Sales, Production, Procurement and Warehouse teams to optimize inventory levels, minimise excess, and monitor supply risks. Diploma holders with 2–5 years of experience are welcomed.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or related discipline.
• 2–5 years of material planning or supply chain experience in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Liaise closely with the Sales team to understand customer requirements and align material planning with sales demand.
• Generate and manage Material Requirements Planning (MRP) schedules to ensure timely issuance of Purchase Requisitions (PRs).
• Plan, coordinate and monitor material availability, supply schedules and product deliveries to support production requirements.
• Work closely with cross-functional departments, including Sales, Production, Procurement and Warehouse, to ensure materials are available according to operational timelines.
• Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock availability while minimising excess and obsolete inventory.
• Track material shortages, delivery schedules and potential supply chain delays, and coordinate timely follow-up actions.
