Job summary

Evonik Industries AG in Singapore is seeking a Material Handler to manage inbound and outbound materials, perform receiving inspections, packing, and containerization support. The role requires forklift certification and hands-on experience in warehouse operations.

You will contribute to safe, accurate storage and timely shipments. Experience with warehouse processes, basic PC skills, and ability to work overtime when needed are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE ‘O’ level or equivalent.
• Speak, read & write simple English.
• Basic PC knowledge.
• Minimum 3 years of active Forklift driving experience after passing WSQ Operate Forklift Course / MOM approved Forklift Driver Licence.
• Preferably with experience in Receiving or Shipment preparation for containerization.
• Able to work O/T when required.

Responsibilities

• Receiving: Handles incoming raw materials and finished goods, inspects before storage, relabels as needed, and records in the system.
• Perform weekly cycle counts and ensure stocks are properly palletized and safe.
• Picking and issuing: accurate picking and packing for shipments, inspect goods before stuffing, assist in containerization.
• Loading and unloading at bay: coordinate with shipping for daily loading, final visual checks, assist in monthly stock counts.
• Dismantle container of bulk material: dismantle flexi-bags and drain residuals into IBC.
• Other tasks: Banksman duties for trucks and onboard training for new materials handlers.
