Job Summary**

Responsible for the efficient movement, storage, and handling of materials within Hitachi, Ltd. facilities, ensuring production continuity and inventory accuracy.

Job Responsibilities**

  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials, verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders and packing lists.
  • Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move materials to designated storage locations or production areas.
  • Pick and stage materials for production lines, ensuring accurate quantities and timely delivery to meet manufacturing schedules.
  • Perform regular inventory counts and maintain accurate records of material movement and stock levels using inventory management systems.
  • Prepare materials for shipment, including packaging, labeling, and loading onto trucks or containers.
  • Identify and report any discrepancies, damages, or quality issues with materials.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including housekeeping and equipment maintenance.

Job Qualifications**

  • Secondary school education or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment as a Material Handler.
  • Proven ability to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment (certification by Singapore approved training centers preferred).
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management systems.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 15 kg).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and best practices in material handling.
