Job summary

VOESTALPINE SPECIALTY METALS PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a materials QA/analyst to ensure conformance with specifications and customer requirements. You will review MTRs, pre-arrival stock reports, and arrange testing as per SRS QA35.

You will monitor specification revisions, support data collection for AI review, and assist in simplifying existing processes. Diploma or Bachelor's in Materials Science preferred; SAP knowledge advantageous; immediate start welcomed.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Material Science is required.
• Willing to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Review MTR.
• Review pre-arrival stock report.
• Arrange incoming material testing for SRS QA35.
• Input alien material to the purchase department.
• Submit CMRT reports to customers upon request.
• Review & file MTR/test reports/HT reports.
• Annual/ad hoc review of all international standards.
• Annual/ad hoc review of customer specifications.
• Maintain Excel data for review.
• Review MTR to advise on Sales inquiries for every heat number.
• Review MTR to advise during Contract review after PO.

Job Description & Requirements

Review the standards/specification requirement to supply the correct and conformed materials to customer requirements.

Review the incoming material's mill certificates for the conformance of specification, standards and/or our requirement.

Provide advice/solutions to customer's enquiries during order stage & after sales.

Review the order acknowledge/confirmation/quotation by vendor in accordance with our PO requirements.

Monitor the status of revision of specification and/or standards, update, review and analyses the impact of changes to current practice and/or materials of company.

Identify testing required to fulfil any standards or specification requirements.

Monitor the incoming materials lot and arrange periodical inspection in accordance with inspection plan.

Data collection &analysis of materials properties of stocking materials for failure analysis.

Collect data to support development for AI based review software

Existing process flow to be reviewed and simplified.

Experience-
