We’re the leading hiring platform for Web3 & crypto jobs — used by top-tier crypto companies around the world, such as Coinbase, Nansen, 1inch, Chainlink, P2P.org and others. We’re looking for a full-stack Marketing Lead to take over our traffic and following growth across channels. This is a high-responsibility, high-autonomy role for someone who thrives in fast-moving startups.Reporting directly to the founder, who’s a serial tech entrepreneur with engineering/product background.

Who you are

• Prior full-time professional experience (2-3 years) in marketing teams in crypto / SaaS / mobile / web businesses. If you’ve worked in an office before, it’s a plus.
• University degree. (Yes, we actually care about that!)
• Experience making memes and showing up daily on X. Experience writing threads and adjusting context/message to a range of channels
• Strong SEO and content production experience.
• Passion and strong interest in crypto. You need to know who’s who, some historic context. Not less than 2 years in crypto.
• Past experience and interest in HR / job search / hiring. We are a job board after all!
• This role is remote, but a significant overlap with GMT+8 is required
• Ability to work in tiny, high-agency teams
• You should not be camera shy, or shy to jump on calls with the team or customers

What you’ll do

• Lead our social media efforts across X, LinkedIn, Farcaster
• Jump on new meme trends within 1-12 hours, and make them relevant to CJL’s target audiences: employers / web3 talent
• Create polls and engage with commenters and other brands on social media
• Create long form content for both talent and companies about hiring, job search in web3 and other adjacent topics
• Create newsletters for both talent and companies/recruiters
• Lead content partnerships - written interviews (potentially X spaces)
• Come up with new and evaluate existing marketing campaigns initiatives, their effectiveness and prioritize between them.
• Take lots of initiatives. Come up with new processes, structures, ways we could do better
• Adjust to the needs of the business and not be afraid to wear multiple hats
• This is a “full stack individual contributor” role. You won’t be managing anyone except for yourself

• You constantly need to be told what to do
• You can’t work independently and need colleagues to constantly give you feedback or set direction
• You need “budget/ads/paid partnerships/KOLs/team” to succeed. We don’t do such things here.
• Be part of a small high-performing team. We are all seasoned software engineers.
• $1500-3000 / month

This role isn’t for everyone. But if you succeed, you’ll have an impact on how thousands of web3 companies grow. You’ll build relationships with industry leaders and play a key role in pushing adoption of crypto further.
