Responsibilities

• Lead a team within a specific market and drive the business.
• Supports Market Head in developing the team’s business plan and is responsible for the overall marketing activities of the team.
• Execute the team’s business plan and financial targets.
• Create networking synergies with other OCBC business units.
• Support RMs in dealing with business opportunities and issues.
• Actively develop business through prospecting and building new client relationships.
• Leverage the firm’s products and product teams to meet client investment needs.
• Ensure that RMs practice the BOS Advisory standards.
• Mentor RMs to enhance performance and effectiveness through coaching and training.
• Encourage teamwork within market, team and with other Team Heads.
• Attract, retain and develop talents with entrepreneurial spirit and robust risk management knowledge.
• Lead by example in compliance, process and risk management.
• Ensure adherence to policies, procedures and guidelines with active supervision.
• Proactively manage credit and reputational risks in relationship management.
• Set the tone to foster positive risk awareness and culture.
• Lead to proactively manage AML, regulatory and credit risks as first line of defense.
• Ensure attendance and learning in required trainings (mandatory/non-mandatory).
• Adhere to MCOR framework metrics and related requirements.
• Provide guidance to RMs on regulatory AML and risk policies; review revenue analyses.
• Address credit incidents and actions, closing issues timely.
• Ensure timely responses and closure of regulatory, AML, risk actions.
