Rio Tinto is seeking an Advisor - Market Risk in Singapore to operationalize the Market Risk Management Framework. You will work closely with Trading, Sales & Marketing, Digital and Finance to report daily mark-to-market P&L and risk positions and to perform analytics.

The role requires a degree in relevant field and at least 3 years in physical commodity trading and risk management. You will monitor limits, discuss trading strategies, and drive improvements in reporting processes while

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 3+ years of experience in physical commodity trading and risk management.
• Strong understanding of risk reporting and P&L drivers.
• Proven ability to adapt and learn new skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Ability to translate trading risk into actionable analysis.

Mansioni

• Report mark-to-market P&L and risk positions daily with Trading.
• Perform detailed data analytics to identify risk drivers and P&L influences.
• Monitor risk and position limits; escalate breaches per framework.
• Engage with trading and risk teams on strategy and positions.
• Conduct monthly risk reviews and explain risk/ performance.
• Support due diligence and onboarding of new transactions.
• Drive continuous improvement and automation in reporting processes.
